The    Red    Dress    Run    takes    place    at    Stormont Estate   on   the   9th   February   2019.   Grab   your   red dress   and   join   the   run   that   aims   to   raise   funds   to beat   heart   disease   in   Northern   Ireland.   Whether you   are   a   professional   runner   or   whether   you   are looking    for    a    day    out    with    the    family,    the    Red Dress Run is the event for you.
Ireland’s   original   6k   Zombie   run   is   coming   back   to Moneymore   and   this   year   it’s   going   to   be   bloodier than   ever!   Jungle   NI   has   upgraded   the   zombie run   course   for   2018.   It   has   grown   in   length   from 5k   to   6k.   With   this   there   are   even   more   obstacles to   sink   your   teeth   into   -   including   a   giant   water slide for a quick escape.
The   Belfast   City   Marathon   passes   some   of   the city’s   most   impressive   landmarks   including   Belfast City   Hall,   Albert   Clock   and   the   Titanic   Quarter. Come   and   join   the   17,500   participants   expected to   take   part   in   Belfast   City   Marathon   now   in   its 37th    Year    and    help    us    to    continue    to    provide essential   care   and   support   services   tailored   to   the needs of people in Northern Ireland.  
Challenge     yourself,     friends,     family     and     work colleagues   to   take   on   Northern   Ireland’s   highest mountain   while   raising   money   for   NICHS.   It’s   on our   doorstep   yet   so   many   have   not   taken   on   the challenge   to   venture   up   it.   The   3-5   hour   climb   will pass    waterfalls,    pools,    the    Ice    House    and    the saddle    before    ascending    to    the    850m    summit. This   is   a   wonderful   opportunity   to   take   in   breath taking   views,   enjoy   a   bit   of   exercise   and   support NICHS!

Sky Dive challenge - Northern Ireland Event
Have   you   got   what   it   takes   to   free   fall   from   13,000 feet?   If   yes,   then   Northern   Ireland   Chest   Heart   & Stroke   is   looking   for   you   to   take   to   the   skies   to help   raise   vital   funds   for   our   work   across   Northern Ireland.    The     sky     dive     will     be     organised     by MoonJumper,    a    professional    skydiving    centre based   in   Garvagh.   You   can   pick   your   own   date and    can    jump    on    your    own    or    as    part    of    an organised   group   from   your   office,   school,   college, or club.

Omagh Half Marathon - Northern Ireland
Join   NICHS   for   the   SPAR   Omagh   half   marathon, 5k    run    &    walk.    The    event    will    take    place    on Saturday   7th   April   2018   at   11am.   It   starts   at   the Omagh   Leisure   Complex,   Old   Mountfield   Road. The   route   is   ideal   for   people   who   are   not   avid runners.   It   is   a   great   chance   for   you   to   show your   support   for   NICHS   and   raise   money   for those   who   suffer   from   chest,   heart   and   stroke illnesses in Northern Ireland.

The    SSE    Walled    City    Marathon    is    located    in Derry/Londonderry.   The   route   is   26.2   miles   and   it takes   in   the   beautiful   sights   and   sounds   of   the city.   The   challenging   route   follows   the   dynamic neighbourhoods   of   the   city,   including   the   old   rural villages,   the   banks   of   the   meandering   River   Foyle and   the   famous   bridges,   before   returning   to   the walled city.

Lough   Neagh   is   the   largest   lake   in   Ireland   and Britain.    Don't    miss    the    chance    to    cycle    156km around   the   lough   for   NICHS   on   the   26th   August 2018. The   Lap   of   the   Lough   is   an   annual   cycling   event around   Lough   Neagh.   The   event   attracts   people from    all    over    the    UK    because    of    its    size    and stunning   views.   The   cycle   itself   is   156km   and   the trail   route   runs   anticlockwise   around   the   lough   so you   can   take   in   the   breath-taking   scenery.   There are stops available every 25 miles.

ABSEIL

Reach    new    heights    and    abseil    the    infamous Europa   Hotel   in   Belfast   for   NICHS.   Standing   at over   160   feet   you   can   take   in   the   views   across Belfast    and    wave    to    your    waiting    friends    and family watching you from the bottom. Harnessed    up,    you    will    be    briefed    on    how    to abseil   and   then   wait   your   turn   to   stand   on   the edge   and   lean   back   into   thin   air   holding   the   abseil lines.   You   will   make   your   way   down   the   building buzzing from the experience!

5 PEAKS CHALLENGE

Grab   your   mates   and   take   on   the   highest   peak   of each    county    in    Northern    Ireland!    You    have    36 hours    to    complete    the    5    peaks    starting    at    the event base at Oxford Island. Teams     will     climb     Donard,     Cuilcagh,    Trostan, Sawel    and    Gullion    day    and    night    whilst    being tracked   by   GPS.   Watch   the   other   teams   on   the GPS   Tracker   choose   which   mountain   to   climb   first and   see   what   their   strategy   might   be.   You   will have   2   black   out   mountains   meaning   you   can't climb   them   at   night   so   your   plans   will   need   to   be fool   proof   or   you   could   find   yourself   up   against   the clock! What order will you go for?

LARNE HALF MARATHON

The    Larne    Half    Marathon    is    one    of    the    most scenic   half   marathon   routes   in   Northern   Ireland, taking   in   the   spectacular   scenery   of   the   Antrim Coast   Road   with   its   sheer   cliffs   on   one   side   and beautiful   sea   views   on   the   other. The   course   takes runners   along   a   scenic   coastal   route   starting   at the   Larne   Leisure   Centre.   It   is   an   out–and–back road   race   heading   north   along   the   coast,   looping clockwise   through   Croft   Road,   Ballymullock   Road and   Cairncastle   Road   before   returning   south   to the     finish     line     back     at     the     Leisure     Centre. Participants can choose to run or walk the route..
